Spring Concerts at the Firebird!
Hey everyone! Here’s a few highlights of some awesome shows that are stopping by St. Louis this upcoming spring and playing at the Firebird (conveniently located a little less than a mile from SLU’s campus).
2/21 – D.R.U.G.S.
with Hit the Lights, Like Moths to Flames, Sparks the Rescue
Anyone who calls themselves a fan of Craig Owens will want to come to this show just to be in his presence (myself included). Want a chance to win a pair of tickets?! Listen to Friend In Low Places on kslu.slu.edu, Mondays from 4-6pm for your chance to win!!
2/22 – Every Avenue
with We Are The In Crowd, Plug In Stereo, The Audition, Simple As Surgery
Is anyone else excited for hear new stuff from The Audition? I’ve been going to just about every St. Louis show they’ve put on since my freshman year of high school… that’s a lot of shows.
3/11 – Margot and The Nuclear So & So’s
with Library Voices, Hope and Therapy
This will be amazing. I’m stoked for Margot’s new album this year!
4/1 - Say Anything
with Kevin Devine and the Goddamn Band, Fake Problems, The Front Bottoms
This will not be a show you want to miss. I repeat, you do not want to miss this show. We had the luck of interviewing Kevin Devine when he last stopped by St. Louis in September! He’s an amazing artist. Also, if you haven’t checked out the Front Bottoms yet, I highly recommend it.
4/3 – Youth Lagoon
with Porcelain Raft
4/6 – Reptar
with Quiet Hooves
Reptar always puts on awesome, energetic shows. Want to win a pair of tickets? Follow us on Twitter (@KSLUradio) to find out how!
As you can see, I’m going to be at the Firebird multiple times a month this spring and I’m really looking forward to it. Meet me there!
